I remember listening to the Fugees while growing up. We used to always debate whether it was pronounced "Foo-Jeez", or "Few-Jeez". What do you think? In any event, as many artists find out, if you are self-employed, ie. do not have taxes deducted before you receive money, then you are required to file quarterly installments with the IRS. Many people get to the end of the year and realize they have a massive tax obligation but don't have any money left! Remember, here in the United States, if you earn $1 million, you should always put aside at least 50% of it as a contingency until your taxes are calculated.
